Knitting Teens
Peer supportive learning knitting fundamentals allows for focus on this age group’s strengths and preferred learning style. Fundamentals of yarn properties and
selection, estimating yardage, simple design principles, gauge determination are covered.
Skills of cast on, knit and purl stitches, increases, decreases, and bind off are the
foundation of class with opportunities for learning project-specific techniques.
Supplies for initial instruction provided by instructor. Project supplies provided by student with assistance of instructor, as desired.
Three 90 minute sessions, 2 weeks apart. Cost $75 for initial series. For ongoing support and skill building, $20.
Maybe repeated.
